New news... Tuffi, Samwise and Bobbysox have arrived! It was an interesting day yesterday. These guys have been very sheltered, as in have never been out of sight of their barn in their lives. So it was an adventure to haul them. We'll be practising getting in and out of the trailer methinks! LOL
Samwise and Bobbysox were gelded this morning and had their teeth done. They had never been done, so were rather bad. Samwise had an inch long hook making a hole in his upper jaw. Luckily it's not infected and now he'll have relief from that finally. The one on the other side had broken off at some point. They'll both need another go in six months to bring them fully up to date. The surgeries went well and I can't wait to see them calm down a bit over time and be able to process life better. They are a handful!
Tuffi is across the river in foster care. No mares allowed at the Paddocks for now, with four recent geldings here! She'll be seeing the vet on Wednesday for her dental appointment. She is settling in well there and getting used to the wider world. Here's a shot of Tuffi that I took on my little camera, NOT to be mistaken for a Kristie picture! LOL She's taking pictures of the boys tomorrow hopefully!
Kristie has given me a nice batch of photos. I will ration them out here over the next week so there's always something new for you to enjoy! Let's start with Triumph! He is doing so good these days - downright snuggly! LOL
