February has arrived... along with some new faces!

Hi folks!

Well, I've got GREAT news!  Sampson has been Adopted!  He arrived at his new digs, walked in and was like, "Yep, here I am."  The old TB he was brought to be a companion for instantly fell in love with him and does not want him out of her sight!  They are apparently great pals already!  Minuette and Candy have settled into their new homes just as easily.  All is well.

I've had some very positive reports on Robin Hood's progress and he has a waiting list of fine folks eager to Adopt him once he is well enough.  Storm's runny nose has cleared right up and he's done with his meds.  He will be going back to his foster home on Sunday, so we'll see if moving is indeed what triggers it for him or if it was just coincidence.  Plum is truckin' along.  He had his massage apointment yesterday and has been downgraded to a monthly massage now - he's staying nice and loose finally.  Triumph is an absolute attention hog now... well compared to before anyways.  He LOVES to have his chest and shoulders scratched!  Calypso is doing great and he has a nice gal interested in Adopting him, we just have to go through the approval process now.  Rhapsody... oh Rhapsody.  I think I am going to have to set aside the rest of this month for some one on one time with him.  He is just not settling down and is still vehemently opposed to having anything to do with humans.  Hopefully the weather will start to cooperate and I can be consistant with him.  Hula has settled in nicely at her foster home.  She's got a good month or R&R ahead of her!  I think that's everyone... my head is still spinning from all of the changes lately!  LOL

Well, almost everyone!  We've got two new arrivals, Spirit and #50 who is not yet named.  We are currently having a vote to choose his name, you can vote on the "How To Help" page.  I'll probably cut it off tomorrow night and announce his name then.  We are getting three more new arrivals on Sunday, so I want his name set before they arrive to avoid confusion!  LOL

Here are some pictures of our newest guys.  Spirit is a 6 year old strawberry roan.  He was gelded a couple of days ago.  He is such a sweet little guy, super friendly and apparently trained to drive already!

Here he is hanging out with Triumph...

And here is #50.  He is about 15 years old and very sweet.  We are having bloodwork done to test for Cushings indicators.  He is rather thin under all that hair, so he'll be here until he's put on weight and we figure out what all is wrong with him.  He is very friendly and interactive, I am trying not to fall in love!
