Hi there! Sorry it's been so long between entries. Hopefully those of you who are interested check out our Facebook page for little tidbits that are more frequent.
I think I can stay awake long enough to do a little report here. It's my own "real life" that is keeping me busy these days and blogging is a luxury I couldn't afford in June. Things are easing up now, so I'll try to get some pictures soon and get back to it!
Let's see... Robin Hood has been Adopted. It's a very sweet story, so check it out here.
Samwise has been Adopted!
Triumph, Hula, Bobbysox, Rhapsody, Rumor, Blizzard and Tuffi are all doing very well at their respective Foster Homes. I really can't thank those great folks enough for stepping up to foster for us, as well as those who are standing by in case of influx!
Caspian and Indy are doing very well! They have started to trot and canter around and are really showing their personalities. Caspian is finally well enough to have his teeth done, so that is scheduled for next week.
Cooper has come back to the Paddocks to be Banner's chew-toy. They are getting along very well and Banner is not so lonely now that he has Cooper in with him. Banner has healed up from his operation and is ready to go!
Rose is looking GREAT! She is very smitten with Cooper and that leads me to believe even more that she is not in foal. She is almost up to a nice weight already and is a sweet and sassy girl.
Lilac has put on some weight and I am going to weigh her tomorrow I think to see just how much. She has a long way to go, but is strong enough now to have her teeth done next week as well.
Lily is putting on the pounds nicely as well. She is starting to show some spunk, but is still sweet as pie.
Sweetpea has been weaned and is shedding out that llama coat quite nicely. She is learning to trust us and it is a lot easier to handle her now. She is such a little doll, I quite enjoy my time with her.
It sounds like we have a new arrival or two coming soon and we'll be rehoming Plum as his owner is having some health issues. So, busy as ever and loving our Mini mayhem!
