Well, Mickey is going to his new home on Thursday, and we have a new arrival!
Mercury is a three year old (unverified) chestnut pinto stallion. Apparently he was bought as part of a package deal and then discarded. He has been in poor shape for quite some time though. So, we'll do our best to get him ship-shape in no time and into a loving home! He is already scheduled to see the vet, farrier, dentist and structual allignment specialist!
Mercury seems very sweet. He is a tad nervous when he's loose in his paddock, but once he's haltered - he is a superstar! He went in and out of the trailer and up onto the weigh scales with no hesitation! Someone is going to be very lucky to have this guy - he's a good one!
