Many Goings-ons!

WOW!  We are still very busy here!  It was such a slow year, until October... and November is not looking any easier!  Let's see what's new...

Bolero is battling an infection from his gelding operation.  He is still feeling fine, just taking antibiotics and tolerating the cold-hosing and some forced exercise.  Steph came and gave him a good grooming and he loved the attention!

Mickey is back!  Mickey is a senior gelding who had been fostered out for the past two years.  Now, he is looking for a permanent home.

Rufio is still curious as ever, but still holding himself aloof.  It is nearing time for him to get his feet done again, so I am stepping up his handling as much as I can with all of the extra care I have to give to these new guys!

Luna is doing well, she is in with Rufio now and they love each other.

Jupiter and Mulligan are doing great, as always.  We did have to build Mulligan a new divider as Jupiter figured out how to get into his little area (HOW - I don't know!) and he got stuck in there!  LOL

Chico has been adopted!  Talk about the right person at the right time!  He has found his perfect home in less than a week.  He is already settling in and making friends at his new digs!

Finally, I am happy to introduce Sparrow!  She is a very sweet (though technically too large) addition to our motley crew!  Standing at 11 hands high, she is an absolute doll and we just couldn't turn her away!  Sparrow has already seen the vet and farrier and is on stall rest and medication to help her deal with some foundering issues.  She'll have her teeth done this week as well.  Here are some pictures of Sparrow...

And Sparrow meeting Jupiter.  He and Mully hang out by her door to keep her company.
