Minis Minis Everywhere!

Well... it is pretty fun having six horses around now, but along with that comes even more chores of course! I would like to thank Kristie and Stephanie for all of their help this month! It is great to have volunteers to help lighten the load... especially when our numbers have doubled in the last two weeks!

Things are going good here at the Paddocks. Tango is healing very nicely from his gelding operation. Bolero is scheduled for gelding on Wednesday. The three new ones had their teeth done this morning and thanks to Kristie, they are looking very spiffy these days with all the grooming that they are getting. That also leaves me more time to work with Rufio and he is coming along nicely. I don't think he will ever be a child's pony, but he will make someone a great cart pony or companion.

Today we introduced Luna into Jupiter and Mulligan's paddock. They appear to be accepting each other quite well and I know that she will be happier without a fence between them. She was definately lonely by herself.  Luna is now up for adoption.

Here is a picture of Luna trotting around her new Paddock... kind of a wierd angle, but she is so pretty!

Here are some pictures from their first meeting without a fence between - I think they are going to be pals for sure.
