Well... I knew it had been too quiet for too long! Today we welcomed Bolero and Luna to the Paddocks!
Bolero is a stallion and will be gelded. He is grossly obese and needs his feet trimmed. Luna is a yearling filly. She is also overweight and needs her feet trimmed. They will both see the vet and have their feet and teeth done ASAP as scheduling allows.
They are both great to handle and have no underlaying health issues that we know of. Luna should be through rehab and up for adoption PDQ and Bolero won't be far behind her... he'll just need to heal from his surgery. Bolero will be started under cart if he can fit into our B-size harness. He is rather rotund at this point. 
We are looking forward to getting to know these two as well as Tango, our other recent arrival. Here are some pictures from the day... Bolero is the bay and Luna is the silver bay pinto.
