Yep - a surrender stepped off the trailer yesterday and my jaw hit the ground! The exact horse I want! LOL - good thing I've vowed to only have rescues for a while! We've named him Prairie and he is lovely! He's a very fancy mover and will look amazing under cart in a couple of years! He is a typical bratty yearling stallion, but time and next week's operation will fix that! LOL
Bolero did not appreciate his new next-door neighbour last night, so we spent quite some time fixing fences this morning. We did "the shuffle" and now Prairie is in the "big" paddock with Rufio. Luckily, Rufio is large enough to handle all of Prairie's antics. He is very tolerant of him and I hope that he'll gently teach him some manners as Prairie gets VERY exhuberant in his attentions! LOL I think it's good for Rufio - he's far too serious!
Kristie took some awesome pictures today - so enjoy!

And an older one of Mercury that didn't make it to the Blog yet! Merc is doing great! His eye is almost healed and he's packing away the food like nobody's business!
