Today was a magical day. The sun was out and it was the perfect temperature! Phoebe (my four year old daughter) and I spent a lot of time with the horses. Before lunch, one of our volunteers came out and we puttered around the barnyard. Kristie took some awesome pictures of the boys. Here are a few of them...

We weighed Jupiter today and he is down to 245 pounds!!! WOW! That means he's lost 75 pounds so far! He is barely on a diet and we've just started taking him for walks now that his legs have stabilized, so it's just melting off of him of it's own accord! He is feeling so much better in general, it's easy to see. He is a real sweetheart and very good with little Phoebe. He had a structural allignment session and he is standing so much better now! Anthony thinks that he can make a full recovery over time! That is just awesome! Here's Jupiter teaching Phoebe how to put a halter on...
Later on in the afternoon another volunteer came for a visit. Stefanee, her mom, Phoebe and I took Jupiter and Mulligan for a walk in the neighbour's orchard. It was a very nice walk. Their dog Angel tagged along too. She and Mulligan were exactly the same size! Haha!

I would like to thank our volunteers for coming out and making this day very special!
