Okay... SO much going on!
We got a booth in the Mane Event at the last minute! I stayed up until 4:00 in the morning preparing the flyers and shirts and everything else! We had a terrific location and our most excellent neighbour kindly gave us 5 extra feet of space! I would like to thank Scott for that as well as the products that he donated for the rescues and the fact that he bought one of our fundraising t-shirts!!! I am going to put a link for his company on the Hero page as soon as I sort everything out from my boxes! We had to pack up very quickly as we were in front of the doors, so everything is jumbled up! I didn't have time to sort through them today because.... we picked up a new surrender!
But first, I will finish about the Mane Event! Here is a picture of our booth. It was very fun and inviting... Mulligan was in the pen at this time and so you can't even see him! LOL (Ignore my fasion faux-pas of socks with sandles... for it was COLD and I needed comfy shoes!)

Now some awesome news! Tango and Jupiter were both adopted! Tango is going to live with Rocky and three other Minis! He is going to join Kay and Charlie's four-in-hand team! Tango was born to drive and we are thrilled that he ended up there!
Jupiter was adopted by one of our volunteers! He has always been her favourite, but she realized that she did not want to be parted from him as she overheard folks admiring him when he took his turn in the booth pen! Congratulations Kristie! Jupiter will remain at Pipsqueak Paddocks as a companion for his best pal Mulligan. We are very happy to have him, and it's no bother as Mulligan takes up a whole pen whether he shares or not! Jupiter is the only Mini we've had through that we totally trust to not damage our little Mulligan.
We sold many of our fundraising T-shirts and our little donation box got very full! It was very fun chatting with folks and educating those interested in all things Mini! We are looking forward to next year's event!
So... today, we picked up a very sweet pinto stallion. His owner just didn't have time for him anymore and so she surrendered him to Pipsqueak Paddocks along with all of his "mini-thingies"! He was very well taken care of and, of course, is very cute!
Meet... Chico!

And THEN... in the mail today was our offical letter stating that we have achieved CHARITABLE STATUS!!! Our many months of paperwork have finally come to fruition! YAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
